Along the Coast
Enjoy a great walking experience along the Coast, from the hotel towards the Protaras area.
Cape Gkreko Natural Park
Nature trails lined with miniature pine trees and juniper. Stop to admire spectacular views from sea cliffs overlooking turquoise seas. The fauna of the waters of Cape Gkreco hide many interesting sea creatures.
Visitors can also visit the small white washed church of Agii Anargyri, with steps down to the sea where the Holy Water exits, or take one of the trails leading to the so-called Cyclops’ cave stopping at the nearby picnic site for a pleasant rest. Specialist cycling paths also exist in the area for the lovers of this sport.
Agia Napa – Pyrgos Xylofagou Cycling Route
This excursion takes you round from Ayia Napa to Xylofagou, returning along the Xylofagou – Ayia Napa road. The 32 km route begins at the little harbour of Ayia Napa.
Tour of Dherynia Cycling Route
Even though this route is quite long (85 kilometres) it is not difficult and goes past some of the most popular beaches of Cyprus, as it travels along the coast before returning to Larnaka via the red soil villages (Kokkinochoria) of the free Ammochostos area (Famagusta). One may choose a shorter cycling route along the villages.
Hiking - Agioi Anargyroi
*Easy trail with gentle gradient. Duration 45 Minutes. Near Cape Gkreko.
Take “the Sotira hiking/cycling village route” of 20 km & visit the byzantine churches.
- Potamos tou Liopetriou
Continue further to the “Potamos tou Liopetriou” for picturesque scenery & tasty fresh fish at the local fish tavern.
